Total Freak Show

Michael Jackson was 'severely emaciated' when he died.

The pop legend weighed just 51kg when he passed away last week after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home.

Leaked autopsy details reportedly show the singer was a 'virtual skeleton', whose stomach was empty except for partially-dissolved prescription pills.

It is understood he ate just one tiny meal a day.

His hips, thighs and shoulders were covered in needle marks, believed to be the result of narcotic painkillers the singer took three times a day.

There were also four injection sites near his heart - evidence of a failed bid to pump adrenaline directly into the organ in an attempt to restart it.

Medical examiners were also believed to be shocked by the surgery scars, which suggest Michael had at least 13 cosmetic procedures.

The bridge of his nose had vanished and its right side had collapsed.

He was reportedly wearing a wig at the time of his death. Underneath it, he was almost bald, with only 'peach fuzz' covering his scalp.

He had several broken ribs and extensive bruising to his chest consistent with someone trying to revive him.

The singer also had unexplained bruises on his knees and the front of both shins and cuts and grazes on his back.

A source said: 'Michael's family and fans will be horrified when they realise the appalling state he was in. He was skin and bone, his hair had fallen out and had been eating nothing but pills when he died.

'Injection marks all over his body and the disfigurement caused by years of plastic surgery show he'd been in terminal decline for years.'

A second autopsy was carried out on Saturday (27.06.09) after the Jackson family was dissatisfied by the first one, which ruled out 'foul play' but could not determine a cause of death.

Michael's funeral will reportedly be held on Wednesday (01.07.09).

His brother Tito said the family spent the weekend organising the send-off.

They have yet to decide whether it will be a public or private funeral.

Going Ga Ga over her Cervix

Marilyn Manson wants to give Lady Gaga a cervical exam.

The 'Beautiful People' rocker - whose on/off relationship with actress Evan Rachel Wood recently ended - is desperate to take his friendship with the 'Poker Face' singer further.

As the two singers - who met last year when they recorded covers of each other's upcoming material - watched Gaga passionately kiss a male model in the video clip for her new song 'Paparazzi', the 40-year-old musician moaned and said: 'I'd like to be that guy. I'll give you a cervical exam.'

The alternative musician is also a fan of the 23-year-old singer's unique image because he sees himself in her.

He told Britain's Observer newspaper: 'I was most impressed by her paparazzi photos. I thought that it looked the way that rock stars should look, as exciting as something that Warhol or Dali would do.

'And I don't consider her to be similar to her contemporaries - the other girls that do pop music - simply because she knows exactly what she's doing. She's very smart, she's not selling out, she's a great musician, she's a great singer, and she's laughing when she's doing it, the same way that I am.'

Gaga agrees: 'I don't feel that I look like the other perfect little pop singers. I think I look new. I think I'm changing what people think is sexy.'~MSN Entertainment

A Coup waiting to happen

The Kia Cerato Koup

The stylish four-door is called the Forte ( gotit? ) . And it's flying off the show room floors like hot cakes.

This coupe version , out soon, its called a Koup ( getit?) . Oh btw, its called a 'Koooooo... '. A coup; like a riot waiting to happen.

Very impressive.

For those who think the Honda Type R coupe too blatant, the Alfa Romeo Mito too raw, Volvo C30 or the VW Scirocco too expensive, this is it.

Very gorgeous, me thinks.

Taut. Angular. Aggressive. Ready to pounce.

This car will officially rise Kia to first world motoring at its best.

It has arrived .

Q .... Bring on the Koup!!!

Fawcett turned off.

She who helped built the careers of today's Charlie's Angels, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore, iconic for her sunshine sex appeal and lustrous blond hair, has passed on.

Farrah Fawcett has died of cancer aged 62.

The 'Charlie's Angels' actress passed away in a Santa Monica hospital today (25.06.09) with her family by her side.

The US star had fought a long and courageous battle against anal cancer but was rushed from her home to intensive care last night and read her last rites this morning.

Her fiance, Ryan O'Neal, and best friend, actress Alana Stewart were said to be with her during her final hours.

Long-term partner Ryan, 68, had been planning to wed Farrah as soon as possible.

In an interview earlier this week He said: 'I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed.

'Farrah is fighting for her life. But we will wed as soon as she can, say yes. Maybe we can just nod her head.

'I promise you, we will. Absolutely.'

Farrah is also survived by 24-year-old Redmond, her son with Ryan. Redmond is currently in jail on a drug rehab programme and was not present at her bedside, according to reports.

She was also married to 'The Six Million Dollar Man' actor Lee Majors from 1973 to 1982.

Farrah was initially diagnosed with cancer in 2006. Although doctors believed it had been successfully treated, the illness returned in May 2007 and had recently spread to her liver.

Her battle with illness was chronicled in the television documentary 'Farrah's Story' earlier this year which received nearly nine million viewers.

In the documentary she said:
'I know that everyone will die eventually, but I do not want to die of this disease. I want to stay alive.'

Every Dark Cloud has a Silver Lining.

Be the Bird. Be the Sky.

'I can't stand to fly. I 'm not naive. I've just stopped to find a better part of me.

I'm more than a bird. More than a plane. More than just a pretty face beside a train.

I wish that I could cry. Fall upon my knees. Find a way to lie. Bout a home I'll never see. Misunderstood but totally naive. Even heros have the right to bleed ... I may be disturbed but what you can see is that even heros have the right to dream.'

But whatever it is, I'm free.

I am free.

Curves are En Vogue

The supermodel-turned-photographer has spoken out in support of the British Vogue magazine editor's decision to complain to the world's leading fashion brands for favouring the tiny, skeletal look.

Helena Christensen
Helena Christensen has defended Alexandra Shulman's ze-zero rant.

Helena said: 'It's about time somebody takes action. Obviously I am of the same belief. Aren't we in a business that is supposed to explore all kinds of shapes and silhouettes?'

Instead, the 40-year-old beauty believes the fashion industry needs to focus on healthy, natural body images.

She added to Britain's Independent newspaper: 'The original supermodels all had shape and photography in the past was all about the organic, sensual shape of bodies.'

Alexandra - a highly-influential fashion figure - surprised many with her recent letter which accused designers of pushing models to lose more weight from their small frames.

According to The Times newspaper, the strongly-worded letter accuses designers of supplying 'miniscule' sample garments to magazines for photoshoots, and causing them to hire extra-skinny models with 'jutting bones and no breasts or hips'.

She complained Vogue were regularly forced to retouch images to give them extra curves.

Big and beautiful is En Vogue.

Who ever said that SUVs are officially dead?

Ostenticity is clearly still 'in'.

Gas-guzzling and poor economic sensibilties is hardly an issue for the Wealthy
( and sinful; chicken-egg 'which ever comes first?' theory; know what I mean).

In fact, from the world's most prestigeous SUV maker , Land Rover,( okay I want , also, either a Porche Cayenne , BMW X6 or Audi Q7, as well) they came out with a Haute Couture , for its top-line Range Rover.

Tuned and souped up to befit an exclusivity beyond comprehension of mere mortals.

What's it called?

This SUV so 'in' its called VOGUE.

Q... Big and beautiful is in. Skinny is out. Nuff said.

Dear Passengers .... This is NOT the Captain speaking...

Continental plane traveling from Brussels to New York landed safely at Newark airport Thursday after the pilot died during the flight, the airline said.

The Boeing 777 flight, carrying 247 passengers, made an emergency landing guided by two co-pilots around midday 1600 GMT at the New Jersey airport, which is one of the three main airports serving New York City.

"The captain of Continental flight 61, which was en route from Brussels to New York, died on flight apparently of natural causes," the airline said in a statement. "The fight continued safely with two pilots at the controls."

FAA spokesman Jim Peters told NY1 television that other planes were taken out of the landing queue so the aircraft would have a clear descent into Newark airport.

Asked if passengers had been alerted to the emergency, Peters said,
"the attention of the flight crew was on maintaining control of the aircraft."

The pilot, Continental said, was 61 years old, based in Newark and had worked for the airline for 21 years.

Continental Airlines, the world's fifth largest airline, flies daily from Brussels to New York-Newark and offers connections to more than 230 destinations across the United States, Canada, Latin and South America, and the Caribbean.

Airlines have lost pilots in flight before.

In January 2007, a Continental flight from Texas to a Mexican vacation spot made an emergency landing after the pilot fell ill. The co-pilot safely landed the plane carrying 210 passengers and the pilot died on the ground.

In May 2000, Taiwanese airline China Airlines was forced to turn back shortly after take off when the pilot suffered a heart attack. The co-pilot returned the plane to the airport and the pilot died soon after arriving at a hospital.

In March 1997, a Gulf Air Airbus A-320 skidded at Abu Dhabi airport after a pilot had a heart attack right at take-off. ~MSN News

It's Saturday!

Okay, it's not. Sadly.

I wish.

But I'm just getting quite hyped up by this new girl group called The Satudays.

Not since EnVogue has there been another girl group that quite harks back to the good ole 60's for inspiration for their public image and personas.

Quite the fashionistas as you guessed it.

Music-wise, they are your typical girl group not unlike Sugar Babes, TLC, All Saints ,Destiny's Child, Girls Aloud and Danity Kane.

Not as wild as The Spice Girls or Pussy Cat Dolls, but still, highly likeable.

These girls can pose and pout like the best of them.

Natural Woman

Findings of a study that biologically link sexual orientation and brain function are published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

According to this recent research, there is a similarity between the brains of homosexual males and heterosexual females, thereby suggesting that biology is central to sexual orientation.

With the use of brain scanners, researchers behind this study found similar aspects in the brain circuits concerning the function of language and the area of emotions. They say that homosexual men and heterosexual women both exhibit
‘higher rates of depressive disorders than heterosexual men.’

In a previous neurobiological study, evidence was found regarding the part of the brain linked to sexual behavior as ‘smaller in homosexual men compared to heterosexual men.’

Comparatively, this new and latest study led by Ivanka Savic of the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm dealt with the ‘areas of the brain that have nothing to do with sexual behavior, suggesting there was a basic biological link between sexual orientation and a range of brain functions.’

One of the more significant findings of the Savic study is that brain differences between homosexuals and heterosexuals were formed ‘in the womb or infancy, probably as a result of genetic or hormonal factors.’

Supermodel Vogue Editor

Supermodel Heidi Klum guest edited the latest edition of German Vogue and was delighted when the fashion publication decided to dedicate 140 pages to her.

Heidi Klum was 'thrilled' to get a 140-page Vogue special.

The German edition of the fashion bible devoted the massive section to the country's most famous supermodel when she guest edited the latest issue.

She said: 'I grew up reading German Vogue and was really excited when they came to me with the idea for the 'Heidi by Vogue' issue.

It was a thrill working with the team of photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists and editors. We shot the entire issue in one week - it was a group effort!'

The issue sees Heidi - who is married to singer Seal and currently expecting her fourth child - model a wide range of fashion styles and offer life, career and style tips, but she says she couldn't single out her favourite.

She gushed: 'I love all the stories so much that I don't favour any of them.'

The blonde beauty enjoyed the experience was so enjoyable she hopes to repeat it in future.

She added to People.com: 'I would love the opportunity to be involved in a magazine like this again. I'm always up for a challenge!'
