Fashion is Business down to the Atom

Sarah Jessica Parker is involved in Halston 'down to the splitting of the atom'.
The 'Sex and the City' actress - who is the president of the iconic label - takes her job seriously, so much so she has input at every level of business.

She said:
'I will never dip in and out of this. I'll be involved down to the splitting of the atom.'

However, the 45-year-old star does admit her involvement is not from a usual fashion perspective, but instead based on her style sensibilities. The fashionista added to America's ELLE magazine: 'I can't always tell you the exact blends of fabric, but I figure it out.'

Sarah Jessica also has no plans to change her image in the near future, particularly not with regards to the ageing process. She said: 'I'm ageing all the time. But what can I possibly do? Look like a lunatic?'

In November it was revealed Sarah Jessica had not been pleased the CEO of Halston Bonnie Takhar had been forced to step down.

A source said: 'Sarah has been a strong supporter of Bonnie for a very long time, and has been the sole voice supporting her against the board and shareholders. 'She has been fighting this for a very long time. She believed in Bonnie. She was emotional and upset because this finally came to a head.'

The Sex Book

This, if you think, is the updated Karma Sutra, you are 'so last-season.'

Ok, as if I could talk like this when the only thing hip in my wardrobe are my hipsters of last century.

But seriously, what's not to fall in love with the show and the movies?

The scripts are amazing. The emotional depth is deeper than the pockets of the fictional best friends who tote around in everything within Valentino's tax bracket.

Now we all want a life like that don't we?

Now, just in time for the holiday season, introducing the newly released DVD, Sound track and the coffee table book that waxes lyrical about all the product endorsements in the bling bling movie.

What's not to like?

Go get it pronto and lavish in fictitious luxury! Just like we all like it, sans the hefty credit card bills of course.

Sarah Jessica Parker is, afterall, only the 10th most profitable movie star in Hollywood and those Loubotins don't come cheap. Or rented.

Fern Lady: SEX and Style

By now most of us folks would have got wind that the movie we love to hate and hate to love, 'Sex and the City' is gonna have a Version 2.0 in 2010.

More rabid fans at the box office. More sound tracks to load up our mp3s .

More money in the coffers of Sarah Jessica Parker...

Like watching reruns of the tv series at night when you should be out hanging, isn't no life enough, you 're now left with salivating for the next instalment.

Makes you wonder what's there to install anyway, in the lives of 4 successful and independent women living their own lives.

Too much freedom. Too much power. Too much issues.

Still, let's take a look at some of fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker's statements on the red carpet which are prolly more fun and conversation-worthy.
Spot the Fern Lady amoung the humans.

Stunning. Classic yet edgy.

Jokes aside, the maverick works. That's why she's a style icon. Just not too sure if she's sexy for us or the plants.

Q... having conquered the style of man kind, plants are next on her agenda.

More Sex same City

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have agreed to star in the
'Sex and the City: The Movie' sequel.

Following months of speculation the quartet were set to reprise the roles they brought to the big screen last year - four years after the hit US TV series ended - a source has now claimed the lead actresses will appear in another movie.

The film insider said: 'Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board. It just happened.'

All the actresses will get increased salaries for appearing in the second
movie.

The lure of fame and money.

Indeed , when sex sells, the coffers get fat.

After all, even Sarah Jessica herself hasn't had much of a career left since the SITC ended its run.

So why not? Milk it for all it's worth.

The fact that the first movie had 2 consecutive mega sound track releases only showed her desperation to get back on top.

Q ... Indeed. When the she "got carried away, she'll be back for more."

No Sex

Sarah Jessica Parker says there won't be another 'Sex and the City' movie.

The actress - who reprised her role as sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the long awaited 'Sex and the City: The Movie' earlier this year - doesn't think there will be a sequel.

Did it flop? Or she's just moving on?

Oh my .. this is greater than a Big O .

ICON

There was Audrey Hepburn .

With movies like 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and 'Funny Face', she sealed her reputation as The penultimate style icon.

Not just trend setting but having Cool sensuality, displaying timeless beauty and appeal.

And for many years later, many celebrities have had a hand in trying to fill Hepburn's designer shoes.

From the J-LO to Beyonce; all have fallen short because the public tends to confuse media hoggers from true media darlings.

But the following three are
DEFINITE Style icons
of our time.

The distinctiveness and sophistication that epitomises each of them; so chic that they are designer muses.

Victoria Beckham

Amy Winehouse

Everytime they step out of their houses, they send the style writers columns to talk about.

Amazing.

A movie trying to be EVERYTHING IT IS NOT:

>Sexy (Hell no!)
>Miss Independent-can-do-nothing wrong (so how's there the Possiblity of a credible plot?)

My Point Exactly.

Then again, we all know how savvy a business woman Miss Sarah Jessica Parker is, donch we?

She can sell you Anything.^^
