Shot-Gunned and Short-Changed.

When I was in college I had this gal pal, really sweet and all.

I guess she was a lil too infatuated by boys (ha ha) and let her guard down too easily ... considering she was from an all-girl's school. Not to say they are all like that... but she was one of them. Easy on the eye...and ... Easy. If you know what I mean.

Anyway, after going to University, I kinda lost touch with her.

And just today, I met her on the streets.
She's my age but out of school for a couple of years now and is preggy with her third kid. Not married. Confused and abandoned.

She's a struggling working mom and looked so worn down. No longer the vibrant and cheerful thing that she was.Sad.

Well, she said it all started when she was in Freshman year and partied too hard. She did think about abortions but never went through any being a staunch Catholic.

To sum up her tragic story , let Barbie do the talking:

Even when younger, she was wild and partyin. And had a loose reputation.

As a grown and confident young woman, her looks and knack for hook-ups, land her up in many morning-afters... alone

To go or not to go. The life within is Innocent. Not the mother.

Messed up young working mum. A Life of struggles and regrets.

This story sounds like it came straight out some soap opera.

Well, for any girl reading this. NO. This is for real. The choices made may be dire.

Live life to the Fullest. Not the Fool-lest.

Anyway,we exchanged numbers. And went on our way.

Life. As we know it.
