FUNtastic?

My charming committee just spent an atomic bomb on a Wii gaming console.

It's the type of sport an arm chair potato absolutely digs.

And there I was pondering, where's the fun in that?

Gimme a Zoo !

Do you remember when you where in school and during gym class, the only thing worth hooting over were the colorful bean bags that was a boon to catch and throw (at each other)?

While browsing through a Sports equipment catalog recently, I stumbled upon these; the BeanBagZoo.

They're the coolest things.^^

The frog, rabbit, piggy, hippo, bug, gorilla, turtle , Teddy Bear etc... coz the zoo keeps expanding :)

You do want them all!

According to the official site:
"Every member of our BeanBagZoo community is filled with special plastic pellets, providing better hand conformity and a more tactile feel. For additional cognitive value, each animal is sold in a set of 6; one each of the primary (red, yellow and blue) and secondary (green, violet and orange) colors"

Colorful. Cute. Catchable. Durable.

Nice!!!

Q... now that's Phun :p

Red Hot Ambition

Pocket Rocket:
Check out the full grille that even Audi would gladly call theirs; Racy:

Poised.

Sleek.

Perky rear to flash at unsuspecting fellow motorists.

Sporty dials and meters mated to great quality of fit and finish. Impressive.

Who says Hot Hatches have to cost a lot?
(I may have to eat my words)

We have our usual suspects:

>At the top end of the market (okay, they DO cost more than a Pocket): The VW Golf GT/GTI , Audi A3 Sportback, BMW 1-Series, MINI Cooper S (& any MINI for that matter), Volvo C30 T3, Alfa Romeo 147, Fiat Stilo etc.

>Mid market (okay, so these aren't exactly a steal either): VW Polo GT , Opel Astra GTR, Honda Civic Type R, Peugeot 308 Turbo, Renault Megane RS, Subaru WRX/STI etc.

and the

>Mass market (still, there won't be shillings left): Daihatsu Sirion Sport, Subaru R1 Sport, Mazda 2 R and the Suzuki Swift Sport etc.

Latest to join the fray of this lucrative segment is the Chevrolet Aveo5 (2009).

Granted, with normally aspirated 1.4-1.6L petrol engines mated to run-of-the mill 4 speeder (auto) or 5 speeder (manual; recommended to wring the most bang per buck) ain't exactly gonna set this segment ablaze since every car mentioned above can literally run circles around this one.

But we also know the well-sorted chassis that the Chevrolet brand is known for.

The inherent solidity and refinement that established this iconic American brand more successfully world wide than any other Yanky thus far (ok, may be, Chrysler with their spanking SRT8s which isn't fair to begin with, is it?).

Also, note that this new high-specced version is fitted with sport kits , bigger wheels, and a firmed up suspension to what was already a very sexy and sporty base car, it's predecessor already was.

So there. On a budget? Need the space and the race(notice I didn't say 'Pace'), check out the all new Chevy Aveo5, this weekend at a dealership near you.

It won't win Sports Hatch of the Year for sure, but still...

You'd grin like a Cheshire Cat.

Or Drool like a Rabid Dog. ^^

Ginity Caps ... to PIMP my ride

What you see here are my fav. combis...

Some of my besties will know that I luv base ball caps.... b'cos I am too LAAAAAZZZZZZYYY to wax my hair 24-7. And, I do still want to have hair when I hit 40.

So, when I just happened to stumble upon this company, Ginity, and saw the caps they make... I was absolutely bowled over. WOOO! :)

In the press release:

" Ginity Trading Corporation is a maker of carbon-fiber consumer products, and its baseball caps “introduce Formula 1 technology into the clothing industry.” Stronger than steel but lighter than aluminum, carbon fiber is used in everything from planes to automobiles—and now headwear, so “customers with sports cars with carbon fiber interiors can now buy a matching carbon baseball cap.” Snazzy!

Yeah, you read right. Carbon/metal fibres are used for its visor. Not only does it look 3-dimensional; the sheen and visual-texture it gives is awe-insipring.

The visors are black if you choose the carbon fibres ; Gold or silver if you want metal-fibres. And then you have a myriad of suede cap-fabric colors to go along with.

Stylo-Mylo.
You won't see that kid round the block wear quite the same cap as you... (You're classier and you know it) b'cos the catch is this : it's made-to-order only ,which means, you can forgo that expensive hair-do and wear this in stead. :op

So , you can afford the combination that best suits your fashion taste... or.... to match that sports car you just bought. :-)
