The 'I Love You Philip Morris' actor - who has been single since his five-year relationship with Jenny McCarthy ended last April - has sparked speculation he is romancing 24-year-old Anchal Joseph after they were pictured leaving a New York theatre smiling and holding hands.

Anchal - who is 25 years younger than the actor - came seventh in the seventh season on the reality TV series in 2006, which is fronted by Supermodel and talk show host Tyra Banks. (below)

Supermodel Tyra Banks conquered the world of fashion both as a uber top model, the creater, producer and judge to the very successful America's Next Top Model ( and it's spin-offs), then went on to become a media mogul with Bankable productions giving Oprah a run for her money as a multi-Emmy award winning talk show host with The Tyra Show.

Then she's about to ride the 'digital explosion'.

Her books will of course centre around modelling and fashion-fantasy.

And Tyra Banks is writing a series of children’s fantasy novels.

The 36-year-old supermodel has signed a three-book deal with Delacorte Press.

The tomes will tell the story of a young girl whose life is turned upside down with she enrols in an elite school for supermodels.

The first novel, Modelland, is due to be released in June, 2011.

Tyra is penning all three books without the help of a ghost writer, and already has the first one completed.

She is extremely proud of the novel, and can’t wait until it hits shelves worldwide.

“The book is for all the girls and guys who want a lot more FANTASY in their lives… and some fierceness and magic, romance and mystery, crazy and wild adventures, and yeah, some danger too (sic),” the beauty wrote on her website.

Tyra was a hugely successful fashion and lingerie model before she retired in 2005.

Big Hair non the Better

Supermodel Tyra Banks is famed for her increadibly lustrous weave.

It's been once commented by a well-known reporter that this girl almost seems to have the ability to control every strand of her hair in the wind during a photoshoot.

Match that do a bodacious body, standing over 5 feet 10 inches tall, those famed electrifying green eyes, a megawatt smile that can melt anything and mocha skin, it's little wonder Banks is one of the biggest supermodels of all time.

Anyhow, back to the hairy issue, actually with a face as strong and stunning as hers, she can do without the big hair and still look a thousand times more fab than the next girl beside.

Naomi is name dropped in pop culture as the uber model of Supermodels. She has reigned supreme on the runway like non other. Her diva-tude, fierce strut and bold antics are unmatched. She is a goddess in the fashion world and a she-devil beyond it. She , too, has done every designer and every magazine out there. She was Queen of Vogue.

Both are hallowed in the ranks of Fashion's royalty.

One's been on Time Magazine's Most influential People list multiple times.

One's been in the headlines for anger-management issues multiple times.

So who's the Almighty Model of our time?

Was wathicng a late re-run of the horror flick Halloween Reserrection .

And we all know the only reason it's worth watching is a guest appearance of Supermodel Tyra Banks.

Frankly, watching this show is like watching Tyra hosting an episode of ANTM Halloween special.

One after the other , they get eliminated. Pretty much like failing to do well in a (twisted) commercial.

And the last one standing (the girl not going home tonight and not having to
immediately 'pack her belongings and leave the house' ) gets to squirm in Tyra's pool of blood ... 'And the winner is ....'

With US$33 million the previous year and US$35 million last year, Gisele has indeed sealed herself as the highest earning Model in fashion history.

Heidi bagged US$14 million last year and US$9 million the previous.

Kate Top-shopped her way to US$ 9million last year and the previous.

Gisele, Tyra and Heidi have been the Top 3 earners in the modelling world since the late 90's on. Nearly one and a half decade later, they still on top...

Other names who've made it constantly into the Top 5 include Adriana Lima, Kate Moss, Karolina Kurkova and Alexandra Ambrosio.

And notably, for over 2 decades, Naomi Campbell has been in the Top earners list. (No amount of handphone-throwing can de-throne this strut queen.)

Tyra would pretty much rank at the top next to Gisele if she didn't keep telling the whole wide world that she has 'quit' modelling .

What's with her ANTM and all it's international spin-offs, The Tyra Show and her recent mega contract with Warner Pictures. Not to mention her still constant slew of magazine covers and spreads. She's a model-media-Mogul, indeed.

I mean, c'mon Tyra, you're a Uber Supermodel and we all know that!

She's got the sultry looks, the personality, the spunk, the willingness to learn and push herself and ability to sell herself well and the purity of heart.

This girl had it all.

And when the re-run was on, it was obvious that even the judges could see it and feel it and where rooting for her.

So did folks all over the world.



But, so tragic that she didn't win even though I felt she rocked the runway and all through the entire season.

I really wonder why it's always the better girl that ends up SECOND on Top Model, cycle after cycle.

Other than Danni from Cycle 6, every winner thus far stinks.

I was also rooting for Melrose of Cycle 7, and yes, she ended up runner-up as well.

C'mon Tyra, give the deserving girl her big break!!!

Probably 2 of the biggest rival-models in the Fashion business; Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell.

Two very powerful Black women who've blazed the field with their gorgeous looks and stunning presense on the runways.

Locked in what seemed like an eternal battle to out shine (in model speak, out-pout and out-pose) each other.

'Who's gonna be on the cover of the next magazine?", "Who's going to front that next ad-campaign?" ,"Who's doing which runway show?" ,"Who's the new muse of whom?"

The biatching never seemed to reach a halt.

Fast foward a decade and things are beginning to look a little different now.

Still names chained to each other not unlike Whitney and Mariah, for instance, but these days, these uber-models are as far off each other's high-heeled tracks as Heaven and Earth.

Miss Banks is a model-mogul now, building a media empire of epic proportions not since Ellen meets Oprah. With a multi-million dollar movie-production contact with Warner Pictures, executive producer of America's Next Top Model (and all its international spin-offs) and her hotter -than-hot talk show, Tyra is so influential these days.

'What Tyra wants, Tyra gets.'

On the other hand, Miss Campbell is doing none the better.
She's still one of the premier models out there, working the runway like only she can. But she hasn't diversified.

No matter the strut-queen that she is, it's still a fact that as she pushes the big 4-0, she faces massive competition from fresher faces in an industry obsessed with youth and its vibrance.

Doesn't help if you're forever in the news for handphone projectiles (she could win Gold if it were to be included in this year's Olympics; just sayin.).
Or if you've got someone else beaten up yet again. And hand cuffed . And could be walking out of jail wearing yet another D & G outfit.

While Tyra is busy telling women all over the world how to be positive role models to their families and societies, Naomi only exempifies the 'Beautiful on the outside but ugly on the inside' age-old notion; the party-sex-and-drugs rockstar lifestyle.

Indeed, they were so similar then. Yet are totally different today.
