The 24th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games, duh?) was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from December 6 to December 16, 2007. ('Was' because by the time your read this, the games would have been over. ;op)
And Singapore did well. (CONGRATS!!) Well enuff to miraculously see the screwed-up
Singapore Soccer team picking up a Bronze medal.LOL.
Ok, leading Vietnam 5-0 is seriously more of a case of Bullying rather than Sporting prowess.Whatta Joke.
After years of waiting to place third in merely this small region,
Gawd... 2010 World Cup, I hear? LMAO ROTF.
Over-hyped. Over-emphasized. Over-ambitious. Over-paid.
As I sit here complaining, the team must be thinking how da hell they got so lucky...>>
(Btw, this fella above is a splitting image of a lecturer of mine, Prof. Nick Aplin, who's a huge soccer fanatic. Hee hee.)
Watching a bunch of dumb-and-dumbers running about and putting our National Jersey to luke warm shame is juzzzz painful .
But, still,
congrats to Team Singapore, anyway. Good job. (I didn't say 'great' did I? )
Seriously, the S-League is a no-brainer and if only soccer here was like what's shown below, perhaps it'll be way more interesting. Period.
Woo!
