King of Glam

We had our Freddie Mercurys, David Bowies and Elton Johns. And some might add, Pete Burns.

For the new generation, glam rockers are a dying breed, where few are able to match their illustrious forebears (pun unintended) .

All hail the Queens for yore.

Surely, someone had to wrestle with carefully manicured nails to get on the pedestal at this day and age.

Welcome American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert. There really hasnt been one more exciting since, a certain other queen. Ahem. I'm not saying . You fill in possible runner names yourself.

Okay, the inital kiss-the-guy-on-stage set the tone. The shining album reviews by the critics did the rest.

Until of course when the album cover surfaced with him looking like Pink on testosterone, did it let many hit the brakes there for a moment.

If only, the new cover came out right from the start.

So, yeah, now, I am brave to get one if I ever wanted.
