Be the Bird. Be the Bee.

I'm totally head-over-heels-over this group right now.

The Bird and the Bee is an indie/pop/alternative musical duo from Los Angeles, consisting of musicians Greg Kurstin ("bee") and Inara George ("bird").

Their hit album :

The big hit lead single:

Retrofied. Subtle. Style mavens. Class act.

Watch their performances live on Kimmel or Ellen and you'd be totally smitten by these muses.

They are spot on good. Inspiring. Engaging. A joy.

Finally, true artists comfortable in their element.

Q.. no words to describe their finesse.

I don't want to be ....A Murderer?

It lingers.

The wiff. The aroma. The pheromones. Intoxicating.

I'm hooked.

Oh Rihanna, what did you sing ?!

Q ... faithless? Or has my heart ReOpened?

Is it My Fault? Do things happen for a reason?

Everybody wants to become a Butterfly

Mariah's Latest to continue her fight for chart dominance against the Britney, Beyonce and Rihanna crowd: 'Mariah: The Ballads'

As she nears the Big 4-0, as she see's the increasing impossibilities of toppling the Beatles from their throne and witnessing the manic competitiveness of younger starlets like Beyonce, Britney and Rihanna gaining heat and ground; She goes back to her roots to remind people what she and only a few others in history were capable of doing really well and what made her really big.

Singing ballads with a souring and effortless voice of flawless technique and emotive melisma.

Let's face it, these days, the emulators of Whitney, Mariah and Celine, struggle to hit the same notes with the same effortless finesse.

Lee Ann Rimes, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce , Fergie , Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys , Nicole Scherzinger, Lara Fabian, Anastacia et al. You name it. They only prove that sheer lung power is not nearly enough to match the un paralleled charisma of lyrical phrasing and time-foresaken technique .

These days, the music business is tough.

CD sales are dropping and every star out there is overexposed by the sheer media frenzy that modern IT brings forth.

So, a CD is not good enough.
Make that double discs, special 'limited' edition versions, remix CDs and even a greatest hits compilation once every other year.

All speak of
the hard realties of an undying Superstar.

I Kissed a Girl

Katy Perry . The new girl on the block.

Whose causing quite a stirr not since Russion girl-duo T.A.T.U .

Talking about lesbian/ gay sex and the angst that comes with social rejection.

A tried and tested formula that has obviously worked well, given the chart performance of her international debut album, 'One of the Boys', so far.

Pitching herself against the Avril Lavigne, Amy Winehouse, T.A.T.U, Amy Lee and Britney Spears markets all-at-once is quite a feat.

Either this will pay off or she's so gonna bomb out of the scene.

Watch her in a couple of years time. We'll see.

Wedding Day

One of the most famous couples in the world debuted their smouldering duet 'Wedding Day' on Seal's latest album 'System', at the 2007 Victoria's Secret Show.

The duet's a gem.

Not the all-hyped-up shake ya booty 'biggest-duet-there-ever-was' or a 'we're singing about love but we're really talking dirty here' or 'we really really are mushing to hell about the big L-O-V-E' type of ditty.

But a cool, new-agey , laid-back sophistication that wafts along a tremendously well-written, well-arranged song that reflects a true sense of their chemistry, relief and happiness together.

No romping or flirting. Only a gentle sense of caressment and eye-to-eye.

As beautiful as the Angel's it serenaded that night.
